  I have been working in retail at Chadstone Shopping Center for more than 3 years now and Bardot is my go to fashion store. However for the last 4 years, I have always dreaded going into that store due to their lack of customer service and rude girls that grease you off, look at you up and down and watch you while chatting to their coworkers. You would have to search for a staff member for some service or wait a while at the counter until they come to you with a fake smile and attitude. As a person who has been in retail for a while, I was always taught to greet every customer that walks in and ask them if they need help. It's concerning because its the same girls that work full time and are probably managers or ICs that seem to be so unfriendly and look like they are hating work. Its not hard to smile at a customer. To avoid this depressing atmosphere I always go to the Fountain Gate store or Knox Store where the girls are lovely. Even they agree that Chadstone Bardot Staff are stuck up and rude. If there is any nice service at Bardot, it is usually a lovely casual or part time staff member who I will probably only see during the holiday season. I don't care if you are the manager or the owner of a company, it is common courtesy to have manners, smile a little, be a nice human, do your job and help someone out. Every other store in Chadstone are very friendly and even have a chat with customers they see regularly. I love shopping at Kookai because all the girl are lovely. Bardot however doesn't even deserve 1 star.
